Local Rules: The first photo is of “prepared rock surface” typically dense 3/4″ “prepared” rock. A free drop is allowed out of this area due to the risk of injury. The three pictures following should be self-explanatory as to free drop areas, i.e, washouts, large rock area & cart damaged areas. In the fifth picture, the penalty area is to the left. Relief is because of the rivulette.
